MSNBC's Presidential rating grid

This is a neat feature that lets you pick who's views you align with the most. Bright green is agree... the darker shades less so. Bright red is completely disagree... and as they get darker... you disagree with less intensity.

Note that I'm with Giuliani... what are the odds:

Wow, that's a neat feature indeed. It turns out, I'm with Bill Richardson. He's the only one I gave four green blocks. But then, the only person who I gave a green block regarding Iraq is Joe Biden. Actually, I didn't even give anyone else as many as three green blocks. And hey, the person who I rated the lowest. . .Mitt Romney.

Yeah... Biden's Iraq policy is hte best.

I do think we are likely biased to change someone's rating if we know who they are. They should have it be a blinded survey... then tell us who we best align with.

I had a problem with the Iraq question actually because while I see the war as a mistake... I see it also as something that can't be fixed by ignoring the problem, leaving, etc. It is a catch-22. So my GOP war ratings are greener by and large than they should be... just because they don't advocate pulling all of the troops out. Advocating uncritical support for the war is a huge negative in my opinion however. (Romney, Giuliani, Hunter, Thompson... etc) But their views are more realistic I feel than some others... despite a refusal to admit that the war was a bad foreign policy decision.
