Ironic from a political campaign that said the Bush White House took too much executive power (which there is some truth to...). This move pretty much seals the deal that along with the "Stimulus" we will become a one-party rule Socialist nation. The GOP could end up in a marginally better position than the Green or Libertarian party soon.
Obama's press conference tonight was impressive. The likes of his communication skills have not been seen since Reagan, but as we are learning his rhetoric doesn't follow his actions, and his words are half truths at best.

Your claim is baseless, and ill informed. The GOP knew this and that is why they didn't get their so called "act together".
As much as I am disheartened with Obama's policies, I'm not going to subscribe to conspiracy theory that has less going for it then that one about the moon landing... and yes I know all the hoopla about the birth certificate... so really don't waste your breath.
Other candidates aren't even asked to fork over their birth certificates... and quite frankly the only reason people are able make an issue out of this is because of his African father, and I don't blame him one bit about his stubborn streak on this. If there was one ounce of truth to this, potentially hundreds of people in Hawaii would all be in on the secret. Obama's American grandparents were Nixon voting Kansas natives... I'm sure someone in their vast circle of associates (his grandmother was a bank manager, and his grandfather an insurance salesman... not exactly low profile people) would have sold the proof, spilled the beans, or been coerced into revealing the evidence.
